    • …we spoke about oil vs. acrylic, so…

One thing I love about not pre-sketching and using oil paint is that my mistakes are fixable and so I can go back and “delete” something that isn’t sitting well with me, without worrying about the paint drying too fast or without feeling constricted to color within the lines. I think if I pre-sketched I may not have exaggerated the features as much as I did.

    • Somebody give this woman her own tv show.

    • It really is amazing to actually be able to watch art come alive, from the simplest of beginnings to the final product. Another job overly well done.

Would you like to buy this painting. The original is for sale.

    • how do u know what colours to use?

    • CandyAcidReign

It comes natural. I don’t spend any time thinking about it. Each color has a different energy. I go with what feels right in the moment. It’s almost like feng shui, or interior decorating. You do what adds the balance or vibe you desire for the space… and so fourth.

    • OMG this is amazing…i watched it twice… I’m official a fan! Sooo talented!

    • how long did this actually take to paint

    • CandyAcidReign

To be honest I can’t fully recall, but given the time condensed, I think it was about 2-4 hours sitting in one spot. I didn’t take any breaks. So, it could be closer to 2 hours, not including the video production This painting is 10 inches by 10 inches. My larger pieces take much longer.

    • OMG I so love this
